To ensure that you are well informed about your stay before your arrival, we gathered some frequently asked questions. If you have any further questions, we are happy to help you . Traveling by guests under the age of 18 years

Children under 14 years old are only allowed to stay in the Hostel 199 accompanied by an adult. Young people under the age of 18 are allowed to stay only with a written consent of the parent. We will send the consent form on request.

City Tax

The city Tax is included in the room price.

Are you travelling for Business or Training and are not eligible to pay the City Tax? We will send you on request the required documents.

Booking

You can make bookings by mail, by telephone or through our website.

Payment

You can pay on arrival. We accept the following methods of payment: cash (€), Visa, American Express, Diners Club, Mastercard and Electronic Cash (EC) card payments.

Cancellation

Guests who booked through hostelworld.com/ booking.com/ agoda.com must cancel bookings through these sites (according the restrictions). Please contact us by email, if you made a reservation through hostelbookers.com.

A cost-free cancellation is possible up to 7 days before the arrival.

This can be done at any time by phone, email or using the contact form. In the event of cancellation within 7 days prior to arrival, the guest pays an amount equal to the first night. In the event of no-show, guests pay an amount equal to the total price. or if a cancellation is received on the day of arrival, we charge 100% of the total amount.

Modification

If you have booked through booking.com then please use booking.com to change your reservation. Otherwise to change a booking please get in touch with us by email. Please note that not every modification is always possible.


Check- in/ Check -out

A valid ID or passport is required upon check-in.

Hostel check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and check-out time by 11:00 a.m. at the latest. On the basis of an individual agreement you can arrive at the ckeck-in earlier or you can stay later.

WLAN

Our WLAN is free of charge.

Sheets and towels

Sheets and towels are for free.

Self catering

You can use our small self-catering kitchen for the small hunger in between. Each room has its own fridge.

Parking spaces

Free parking is available in the neighbourhood.

Left luggage

We don’t have left luggage service.

Laundry service

We don´t have a laundry service.

Night rest

Please keep the night rest at 10 pm to 6 am.

Smoking

Smoking is forbitten in the hostel.

Pets

We do not allow pets to stay at the Hostel 199.
